Your excursion starts as we collect you from one of our many pick up locations in Hobart for a picturesque drive to the charming coastal town of Kettering. After the short 30 minute drive, you’ll board the Bruny Island ferry. Glide across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and find yourself on Bruny Island in under fifteen minutes. Savour the bay crossing and take in stunning views of the island from aboard the ferry, which is equipped with modern amenities for your convenience—including a lounge where you can unwind and enjoy prime vistas. Ferry crossing is just 10 minutes.

Please note that passes to the National Park are provided in your ticket. However, as Tasmania is made up of 40% National Park, we suggest securing a pass via the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife website if you plan to explore any more of Tasmania’s 19 National Parks during your visit. Often visitors venture into a park without realising.

In the morning, we will visit the Cheese Company to select and purchase an assortment of cheeses for your enjoyment during morning tea. We will then find a picturesque spot on the shores of Adventure Bay to present you with a lavish spread that includes not only the fine cheeses but also succulent oysters and freshly baked bread. Later in the day, if time allows, we will return to the Cheese Company so you can choose some delectable cheese varieties to take home with you.
