DESCRIPTION
Explore the Southern Stars on kunanyi / Mt Wellington
Join us at the Springs on kunanyi / Mt Wellington to learn about our southern stars, selected events will include professional telescopes and palawa cultural sharing of luwari wurungkali / night sky.
We will explore the southern night sky, starting with the Moon and our solar system. Depending on the time of year we may be able to see other planets of our solar system. Then we’ll look further out to the milky way and into deep space.
We will spend an extended period outside in the cold and advise you pack all or warmest clothing.
