Tour Itinerary:
7:00 AM – Depart Hobart
Your adventure begins with an early departure from Hobart. After 1.5 hours, we take a well-earned break at Campbell Town, where you can stretch your legs, grab a coffee, and enjoy a bite to eat.
Cradle Mountain National Park
Upon arrival at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, we prepare for an exciting exploration. Our first stop is Dove Lake, where you’ll have two hours to complete the scenic Dove Lake Circuit or opt for shorter walks to take in the breathtaking alpine scenery.
Next, we journey into the mystical Enchanted Forest and King Billy Pine Walks. These ancient, moss-covered forests are home to towering 4000-year-old trees, crystal-clear streams, and an abundance of native wildlife. Keep an eye out for wombats, wallabies, Spotted Quolls, and, if you’re lucky, a Tasmanian Devil!
Sheffield – The Town of Murals
After three hours of exploring Cradle Mountain, we begin our journey towards Sheffield. This charming town is famous for its vibrant murals, which beautifully depict the region’s rich history. Enjoy some free time to wander the streets, browse local shops, and take in the artistic atmosphere.
Arrive in Launceston
From Sheffield, it’s a two-hour drive to Launceston, where we complete our journey, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.
