This full-day adventure takes you beyond the city to taste your way through some of Tasmania’s finest distilleries. From historic coaching inns to coastal whisky houses, you’ll sip, swirl, and laugh your way through an unforgettable day.
?️ Your Itinerary
9:30am – Depart Hobart
Your whisky business begins! We’ll roll out of the city with music pumping and good times flowing. Time for a quick coffee stop to get you ready for the day!
11:00am – Old Kempton Distillery (Kempton)
Kick off with a guided tour of this historic distillery housed in a charming coaching inn. Sample their premium whisky and gin while soaking in the stories of Tassie’s spirit-making past.
12:30pm – Lunch Stop (Richmond or Coal Valley)
Take a relaxed break for lunch at one of our favourite cafés or wineries (at your own expense). Whisky is better when paired with good food, trust us.
1:30pm – Killara Distillery (Richmond)
Meet one of Tasmania’s pioneering female distillers at this boutique, family-run spot. Enjoy a tasting that’s as personal as it is delicious.
2:30pm – Spring Bay Distillery (Cambridge)
From sea air to glass — taste coastal-influenced whisky and gin crafted with passion and patience. A distillery with a true maritime twist.
3:45pm – Sullivans Cove Distillery (Cambridge)
Wrap up with a premium tasting at Australia’s most awarded whisky house. A bucket-list experience for whisky lovers around the world.
5:00pm – Return to Hobart
We’ll cruise back into the city with full hearts, happy spirits, and maybe a bottle or two to stash away.
