Behind the Scenes with Our Head Distiller – Tas Whisky Week Exclusive
Step inside the distillery and experience the craft of Tasmanian whisky making like never before.
As part of Tas Whisky Week, we’re offering an exclusive, one-time tour led by our Head Distiller, Rob. This immersive experience goes beyond the typical tasting room visit — it’s a hands-on, behind-the-scenes look at how our whisky and gin are made, from raw ingredients to the final spirit.
You’ll follow the full production journey, with Rob guiding you through mashing, fermentation, and distillation, including a unique opportunity to step into the still house and assist in making cuts during a live distillation run.
A highlight of the day is a visit to the bond stores, where you’ll sample whisky directly from the cask and explore how spirit evolves during maturation in oak. Rob will share insights into barrel selection, ageing conditions, and how we develop the depth and character found in each bottle.
