DESCRIPTION
In this QANTAS SPECIAL masterclass for the last session of the day, we take our time over a period of 2 hours, as we look at award winning and Methode Traditonelle winemaking examples from the House of Arras across both Vintage and Non-Vintage wines we explore the regionality and terroir of Tasmania’s different growing regions and the brief but interesting journey of Tasmania’s wine history.
This masterclass includes a brief tour of the vineyard and parts of of our winery where we highlight the growth cycle of the vines and the journey of the fruit through our winery to
Following the Masterclass, the En-Croute experience involves each particpant selecting a glass of their favourite bubbles from the Sparkling Scholar experience to sit down and enjoy on our deck and viewing platform looking across the vineyard and the Pipers River region. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including superb fairy wrens, echidnas, birds of prey such as the wedge-tailed eagle, white-morph goshawk and little brown falcons.
The En-Croute Toasted Brioche are all prepared on specialty Brioche from local master producer Sweet Wheat all using local ingredients;
- Casalinga Prosciutto and local made pesto.
- Pinot Noir Poached Pear, and Southern Sky Double Brie Cheese, Tasmanian Pepperberry Salt.
- 41 South Hot Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream Cheese.
