This micro group tour is ideal for you to learn more about snorkelling in a safe and vibrant snorkel tour from the shore.
Enhance your skills and experience guided by an expert Snorkel Guide and Instructor and have fun exploring the diverse waters of southern Port Phillip Bay.
In a group of up to 10, enjoy a personalised lesson, beginning in the shallow water straight off the beach at Blairgowrie Pier, where your experienced instructor will assist you to get comfortable with snorkelling gear and teach you the snorkel techniques that will help you enjoy the water from now and into the future.
It’s an easy starting point before you begin to explore the beauty of the bay and all its wonderful other locations to encounter diverse marine life including seahorses, leatherjacket fish, stingrays and maybe even octopus and cuttlefish.
Meeting at Blairgowrie Pier, after checking-in, you’ll receive a warm introduction from your instructor and guide. During the interactive briefing, learn about fitting your mask and snorkel, choosing a wetsuit, and using your fins with confidence.
Dressing in your own gear or the hire equipment you’ve pre-ordered, there’s time for advice and questions before slipping into the water.
Before you know it you’ll be snorkelling underwater in better tune with your environment, with more graceful and fluid movements and a new level of ease.
After your guided tour experience, you’ll be able to relax at a nearby cafe with your new buddies, and plan with excitement your next adventure into the natural marine beauty and unique marine creatures of Port Phillip Bay.

Terms & Conditions:
- Tours depart from Blairgowrie Pier
- Meeting at Blairgowrie Marina Top Car Park (Google Maps Pin here)
- Minimum age: 8 years of age
- Please be at the meeting point at least 20 minutes before departure time to ensure you have enough time to check in, dress in your wetsuit and receive your snorkelling equipment
- Tours depart at the scheduled time and will not wait for late guests
- Please dress in a warm full length wetsuit (5mm thickness recommended), preferably with hood. Bring your mask, snorkel and fins / flippers.
- If you have an underwater camera, bring that too!
- Toilet facilities are available nearby opposite the Blairgowrie Shops, best to visit them before meeting up
- Guests must have basic swimming skills as a minimum
- Guests with back, neck, shoulder or heart conditions, those who are pregnant or who have injuries/conditions that may cause a risk to their health are advised to not do these tours, or do so at their own risk
- Sea conditions can be unpredictable at times, this may cause physical injury, psychological stress or motion sickness
- Tours are rarely cancelled, the experience provider will reschedule your tour only in the case of severe weather which would make the tour unsafe
- Subject to minimum numbers and may be rescheduled if minimum numbers are not met
- The supplier reserves the right to substitute and / or change the day’s itinerary without notice
- Reschedule fees apply and conditions apply for cancellations or all fees will be forfeited
- Refunds are not available, vouchers will be issued in the event cancellation is required
- Booking changes may be made up to 7 days before the event
