DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Overnewton Castle a Scottish baronial style homestead built-in 1849. This heritage listed estate features four acres of manicured gardens, grand dining rooms and a fascinating history which guests can learn about, on the optional grand tour.
Enjoy a glass of sparkling on arrival, followed by a selection of delicate pastries, freshly baked scones, authentic English tea sandwiches and petite fours in the Grand Ballroom or elegant Sherry Room. Free-flowing Twinning’s Tea and Vittoria Coffee will be also be served to your table.
Built by William Taylor in 1849 a prominent early settler to the area, this 175 year old property is a heritage-listed homestead surrounded by expansive valley views, making this a truly authentic country escape only 20 minutes from the Melbourne CBD (Keilor Village).
Savour the flavours of history, with the optional add-on tour of both levels of the castle. Find out all about Keilor’s pastoral history, historic architecture and the characters that resided in the castle.

This ticket is for the HIGH TEA dining experience only, to attend the add-on tour, please select this ‘extra’ after selecting your tickets (we have an 11am tour & 2:30pm tour available).

Tickets are extremely limited, please book in early for the dining and/or tour in advance to avoid dissapointment.
Terms and Conditions
Tickets are sold on a non-refundable basis but can be transferred against other dates (at least 48 hours beforehand) – a transfer fee is applicable. If you purchase a ticket and are not fully vaccinated you may run the risk of being turned away. All tickets to Overnewton Castle events are non-refundable.
