Stop At: Immigration Museum, 400 Flinders St, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 Australia
We will meet outside the Immigration Museum to start our walking tour. We will set the scene for Melbourne’s history, including where the first European settlers landed (we will not be going inside the Museum).
Our stories include those of the 2 Elizas and other memorable and strong women who lived and flourished in those times. As we walk from the Immigration Museum to Collins St, we will stop to admire some little-known sites including that of Melbourne’s first hotel built in 1835.
Duration: 15 minutes

On the fabulous Collins Street, I will explain highlights of the Gothic, Classical, and Art Deco architecture and narrate the personal stories of the colorful characters that shaped Melbourne and made it the richest city in the world by 1900. We will stop at 6 historically rich sites, each with their fascinating stories on Collins St.

Stop At: Fed Square, Corner Swanston and Flinders Streets, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 Australia
From Flinders station onwards, our attention turns towards taking professional photographs of you in front of iconic Melbourne backgrounds. (in addition to some we will already have taken along our walk so far). We will time our arrival here around the “golden evening hour” which provides the best light for photography.
I will guide you with posing suggestions, and take individual and group photos at multiple vantage points around the area. High-quality cameras and external lights will also be used to ensure you get photographs to remember your Melbourne walk. These will be far superior to what a phone camera can capture.
Within 48 hours of the end of the tour, you will receive high-resolution edited images of yourself/ your group to download and keep.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Princes Bridge, Swanston Street St Kilda Street, Melbourne, Victoria Australia
We will end our tour here, but not before taking more photos of my fabulous guests at this iconic spot overlooking the river, with Melbourne’s skyline as a backdrop.
