Rooftop Bars and Ripping Tales of Melbourne

Melbourne, Victoria

Melburnians have always loved drinks with a view.

Melbourne opened Australia’s first rooftop bar in 1969 and launched a frenzy of new rooftop bars following changes to smoking laws in the 2000s.

Following months of extensive research, we selected some of our favourite rooftop bars and combined them with Melbourne’s most interesting alcohol-related tales.

This is Melbourne’s only rooftop bar experience, giving you unprecedented access to some of the city’s best high rise drinking spots – from rooftops with hanging gardens to Italian themed, sun soaked decks.

No other tour combines visits to some of Melbourne’s best rooftop bars (with a beer, wine or cocktail at each) with the stories and characters that comprise the unique drinking culture of Melbourne.

From our first (and booziest) Prime Minister to international divas taking champagne baths, join us for an unforgettable afternoon of sky high drinks and tall tales!
