DESCRIPTION
The Phantom of the Opera will take to the stage at the State Theatre, Arts Centre Melbourne from 14 November 2021 to 5 March 2022. The brand new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary show will make its Melbourne State Theatre debut featuring all the hit songs, grand set pieces and costumes designs that are destined to wow. Hit after hit will be performed including the ‘Music of the Night’, ‘Think of Me’, and ‘All I Ask of You’.
The Phantom of the Opera haunts the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera House. He’s man and mystery, a deformed genius. And in Christine Daae, he’s found his angel of music: the young woman he would make a star. But how many lives will he sacrifice to make the music of the night? Produced by Cameron Mackintosh and Matthew Bourne, the production features the famous chandelier, an underground lake, a star-studded cast and a brilliant orchestra.
