DESCRIPTION
The Victorian Alps is a vast and beautiful alpine area featuring the state’s highest peaks. On this tour, we’ll walk across grassy snow plains, climb rocky summits and take in spectacular alpine vistas and dramatic river valleys. This tour will take you to the heart of this beautiful area.
We’ll visit historic high-country huts, walk on sections of the Australian Alps Walking Trail and explore Mt Buffalo National Park, Victoria’s oldest, and renowned for its striking alpine scenery and abundant wildlife.
Tour inclusions
- Small group (10 or less), day-pack only walking tour with magnificent walks and sightseeing.
- Daily guided walks curated to immerse you in the region’s unique landscape, flora and fauna.
- Two talented, experienced, accredited and safety gear equipped guides to drive, care and cook for you throughout the tour.
- Return transport ex-Melbourne, and all tour transfers in our comfortable 12-seater mini-coach with luggage trailer.
- 3 nights comfortable twin-share accommodation (limited single supplements at additional cost), with ensuites if available and sustainably provided.
- 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches (last day lunch at guest expense) and 3 two-course dinners, plus trail mix, nibbles, fresh fruit, snacks, tea and coffee, biscuits / cake and non-alcoholic drinks throughout.
