Our revamped Wilsons Promontory trip offers an outstanding opportunity for walkers to explore this beautiful part of Victoria – be inspired by the wild coast of Wilsons Prom and the magnificent vistas on the Bass Coast.
Stay and experience a little of a lighthouse keepers lifestyle in the lightstation cottage at Wilsons Prom and relax in the delightful lodge accommodation at Tidal River.
Walk to the southern most tip of the Australian mainland at the Wilsons Prom Lightstation and discover the beauty of Little Oberon Bay, Squeaky beach and climb the summit of Mount Bishop. We finish this gorgeous tour with a cliff top walk along the panoramic George Bass Coastal Trail in Kilcunda.
Tour inclusions
- Small group (10 or less), day-pack only walking tour with magnificent walks and sightseeing.
- Daily guided walks curated to immerse you in the region’s unique landscape, flora and fauna, highlights including a nights accommodation at the Wilsons Prom Lightstation.
- Two talented, experienced, accredited and safety gear equipped guides to drive, care and cook for you throughout the tour.
- Return transport ex-Melbourne, and all tour transfers in our comfortable 12-seater mini-coach with luggage trailer.
- 3 nights comfortable twin-share accommodation (limited single supplements at additional cost), with ensuites if available and sustainably provided.
- 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches (last day at guest’s expense) and 3 two-course dinners, plus trail mix, nibbles, fresh fruit, snacks, tea and coffee, biscuits / cake and non-alcoholic drinks throughout.

Walking tour highlights
- Day 1 – Walk 19 km into the Lightstation Cottage
- Day 2 – Walk 21 km from the Lightstation Cottage to Tidal River via Little Waterloo Bay
- Day 3 – Hike the summit of Mt Bishop
- Day 4 – Walk to Squeaky Beach, and along the panoramic George Bass Coastal Trail in Kilcunda before returning to Melbourne
