DESCRIPTION
Learn to horse and ride in a group of up to 3-4 for an entire 10 sessions! It’s never too early or late to learn! Our sessions are suitable for ages 5 years through to adult. You’ll be offered diversity in your learning experiences with us. Your term sessions will consist of both unmounted and mounted horsemanship, with exposure to both English and Western riding disciplines. Please note the sessions continue throughout the school holidays, except evening lessons (request to move them to the day time is possible with advance notice), and unless surcharge is paid and requested no lessons will run on public holidays. For private term lessons please email us for availability.
Your first session will be one on one with your coach who will assess your competency unless you have already been assessed previously. Based on this assessment, you will be grouped in to smaller classes with participants of a similar level, progressing through a learning curriculum designed to develop your confidence and competence both around horses and in the saddle! Each session will consist of learning basic horsemanship, how to tack up your own horse, mount independently followed by a riding lesson. Each session may not include a full 50 minute riding session depending on instructor and student’s learning goals. It’s all part of learning about horses!
We look forward at having you join our horsey community!
