Departing Stawell Airport heading due South along the dramatic escarpment, seeing areas such as Lake Bellfield, Fyans Valley, Mt William & more before continuing to the southern end of the range.
Landing at The Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld – awarded ‘2 hats’ restaurant.
With much of your lunch from their organic produce located onsite at their backyard garden. The lunch menu offers a range of seasonal dishes, highlighting produce from the hotel’s extensive kitchen garden, orchards, greenhouses, olive grove and other locally sourced ingredients. Lunch is a`la carte from a selection of items, catering to most dietary requirements. Included is a glass of wine, beer or non alcoholic drink as a welcome drink, (any additional drinks to be purchase). With indoor and outdoor spaces available – please state at time of booking if you have a preference.
After lunch, you will have the option to join one of the two experiences;
– Cellar viewing and wine tasting: See the impressive 30 000 bottles in the award winning wine cellar and enjoy a wine tasting with one of the hotel’s sommeliers.
OR
– Kitchen Garden Tour conducted by the Royal Mail Hotel’s chefs and gardeners, the tour demonstrates the organic practices employed by the hotel. Tasting rare varieties of produce and learning about sustainable practices.
Once departure from the grounds the return scenic flight through Victoria Valley & Victoria Range, taking a
different return path to appreciate the Grampians National Park with full commentary during the flight from your locally born & raised pilot.
