DESCRIPTION
Explore Western Australia’s pristine coastline and enjoy an intimate cultural encounter on this 2 day 4WD camping adventure to the Kimberley coast and Cape Leveque from Broome. The short break begins with a scenic drive along the Dampier Peninsula to Beagle Bay for a morning tea in an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Sit down with the traditional owners and listen to fascinating stories about the First Nations culture and what life is like living on the peninsula. The first day also includes an afternoon tour of the Cynet Bay Pearl Farm and an exciting Islands of the Giant Tides Cruise where the beauty of the Kimberley Coast on full display. After a long day of exploration, it’s time to settle in for the night at the Coastal Safari campgrounds on the Buccaneer Archipelago.
Rise and shine bright and early with an Aussie breakfast and a tour of Australia’s oldest pearl farm with a fascinating history. As promised, the tour will take you to the iconic Cape Leveque today. Swim on the Eastern beaches, take a long beach walk along the remote shores and marvel at the rugged red cliffs that tower above the pristine white sands below. No trip to Broome is complete without a visit to Cape Leveque but all good things must come to an end with the tour returning back to Broome at 6pm.

- This tour departs at approximately 6.30am on Day 1 and returns at approximately 6pm on Day 2
Location
- This tour departs from Kimberley Travellers Lodge, 9a Bagot Street, Broome
- The departure point is a ten minute walk from the airport, or you can arrange a taxi or transfer bus upon arrival at the airport
- Please advise the operator if you are staying at alternative accommodation (contact details will be printed on your voucher)
What To Bring
- One small soft-sided bag plus a day pack is essential (maximum 15kg total)
- Refillable water bottles that hold minimum 1.5 litres of water
- Comfortable closed-in shoes
- Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
- Camera with spare batteries
- Personal medical kit items such as mild pain killers, electrolytes, band-aids and insect repellent (not required but recommended)
- A headlamp or torch is recommended for around your accommodation at night
- Optional: ear plugs, good book, journal and/or music player
