SOW + SIP EVENT
Sow + Sip is a series of immersive events held every 2 months. Draw inspiration for your morning of seed sowing by starting with a guided tour around our wine sensory garden. Take in the views over the garden while you are sowing your seeds, sipping on your wine, coffee or cup of tea. It’s a truly blissful way to start your weekend!
At each Sow + Sip event, the seed selection available for you to choose from is different and matches the upcoming season in a garden. There will be a mix of flowering plants, herbs and vegetables for you to choose from, and you sow those that best suit your garden, or maybe one that you haven’t heard of before. You take home the seed propagator tray filled with your bespoke selection of flower, herb and vegetable seeds, watch them sprout and grow over the next few weeks.
A Sow + Sip event includes:
- A guided tour around the wine sensory garden,
- A new 24 cell seed propagation tray to take home,
- Seed raising mix to fill your tray,
- Wooden plant tags to label each cell in your tray,
- A selection of seasonal flower, herb and vegetable seeds to choose from to make up your own bespoke mix,
- Morning tea with a mix of sweet and savoury delights,
- 2 glasses of wine during the morning, as well as fruit juice, coffee, or tea,
- Seed sowing and seedling raising ‘handy hints’ sheets to take home,
- A 15% discount voucher for a Pick + Sip Experience,
- An annual membership to the ‘Whicher Ridge Family’ which comes with a 10% discount off wine purchases at cellar door and on-line,
- A free guided wine tasting.
What to bring: gardening gloves (or you can purchase a pair when you book) and a sun hat.
