Two Day Extended Charter Margaret River Region (inbound Sydney travellers)

The Best Way to See Margaret River, planning a trip to Western Australia sometime soon? If you are, then the ultimate relaxing, idyllic spot to visit is Margaret River. The region is a wine lover or foodie’s heaven, and caters to every type of traveller, with cultural options, exciting activities, and stunning natural landscapes. A fantastic way to access the region when you’re an interstate or international traveller arriving from Sydney.

Our accredited local tour guides will ensure that you will indulge and discover the very best seasonally that is on offer giving you a great snapshot of the region and you won’t have to hire a car, your driver/guide will collect you on arrival and look after you for the two days before returning you the the airport on the third day to meet your flight returning to Sydney.

Tour Highlights:

Busselton Jetty Train & Underwater Observatory:

One of our stops on the way to Margaret River will be in the idyllic beachside town of Busselton. Our destination is the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, stretching out into the calm waters of Geographe Bay. We will catch the cute, red jetty train out to the end, enjoying 360-degree views of the Indian Ocean and the white, sandy beach on either side. At the end of the jetty, we will descend into the Underwater Observatory – one of only six in the world – where you can look out on the best artificial reef in Australia. The jetty piles are covered with colourful tropical corals and sponges and are home to more than three hundred different marine species.

McHenry Hohnen: 

What is a tour of Margaret River from Perth, without visiting wineries? One of the wineries we will stop at on day two of our tour is McHenry Hohnen, a place that focuses on sustainability, and creating ‘wines of purity and place.’ They use biodynamic farming and minimal intervention winemaking methods to create the most high-quality wines, while respecting the surrounding environment and prioritising natural processes. On our visit, we will enjoy tastings of their lovely single-vineyard wines, paired with a selection of free-range smoked and cured meats.

Ngilgi Cave:

The Semi-guided tour begins with introductory talk while being led down the first chamber, visitors then explore at their own pace, a guide is stationed in the cave to answer questions and provide information on many areas of the cave and ancient lands experience.

Day 1

Pick-up from Busselton Margaret River Airport:

To make the visit to WA super convenient, we will pick you up right from the Busselton Margaret River Airport with your luggage to start your regional experience 

Busselton Jetty Train & Underwater Discovery Tour:

The next stop is Busselton, where we will take the jetty train to the end of the Busselton Jetty, and head down into the Underwater Discovery Centre for a viewing of the beautiful marine life.

Nookery Café:

Enjoy a two-course lunch including a glass of wine.

Ngilgi Cave:

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse:

Guided tour provides a captivating insight into the functions of a working lighthouse, breathtaking panoramic of the Indian Ocean.

Day 2 

Kingston Bakery Café:

Pickup from your accommodation Breakfast (guest expense)

Yahava Koffeeworks:

The first stop on our second day is at Yahava Koffeeworks, there you can enjoy a coffee tasting experience and be energised for the day ahead. 

McHenry Hohnen:

Then we will head to McHenry Hohnen, to try a range of sustainably produced, single vineyard wines, paired with gourmet meat and cheese. 

Cape Mentelle:

The next winery stop is Cape Mentelle, an impressive property surrounded by beautiful, manicured gardens – where we will enjoy a seated wine tasting of some of the world’s finest wines and a visit to the barrel room.

Vasse Felix:

Vasse Felix is our lunch stop, a delicious three course lunch and two generous glasses of wine paired with the meal at one of WA’s Top 50 Restaurants. Lastly, we will explore the vault and art gallery.

West Winds Distillery/Tavern:

Masterclass in gin with a charcuterie board.

Brewhouse:

Enjoy a cleansing ale before returning to your accommodation(guest expense) Drop-off at accommodation in Margaret River evening meal(guest expense all within walking distance of the accommodation).


Day 3

Pick up from your accommodation after breakfast (guest expense) including luggage and return to the Busselton Margaret River Airport for your flight back to Sydney or should you want to extend your stay and take in  more of our Southwest Region, explore Perth, a visit Rottnest Island ask our friendly team at the time of booking as they will be happy to assist you ensuring that you receive a memorable experience visiting the southern lands of Western Australia.
