Explore the stunning Cape to Cape Track from Prevelly to Cape Leeuwin with Cape2Camp. We take care of the logistics—meals, transport, and cosy tented campsites—so you can fully enjoy the experience. Hike Itinerary Arrival: Waterwheel Car Park, Cape Leeuwin
Meet at 7:30 am at Waterwheel Car Park for your transfer to Prevelly. After a briefing with a Cape2Camp representative, your hike begins.
Day 1: Prevelly to Contos Campground (19 km)
Start with a stunning coastal hike past Redgate Beach, and explore the rocky beauty of Bob’s Hollow. Finish your day with breathtaking views at Contos Cliffs, overlooking Contos Beach. Spend the night at Contos Campground under the stars in cozy tented accommodation.
Day 2: Contos to Hamelin Bay (21 km)
Walk through the serene and towering trees of the famous Boranup Forest, followed by a tranquil trek along Boranup Beach. Relax at Hamelin Bay with hot showers, fresh towels, and a campfire.
Day 3: Hamelin Bay to Cape Leeuwin (26 km)
A favorite for many hikers, this diverse section features dramatic Blowholes, the secluded beauty of Deepdene Beach, and one of the most remote, wild stretches of the track. End your journey back at Waterwheel Car Park, where your vehicle awaits.
What to Bring
- Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy walking boots.
- Sunscreen, mozzie repellent, blister care, and a head torch.
- Power bank, swimwear, and 2–3 liters of water for Day 1.
- Optional: Fly net (Nov–Dec).
