DESCRIPTION
Step aboard a custom-built powerboat, the ‘Investigator’ in Exmouth for a once in a lifetime snorkel and swim with whale sharks in Ningaloo Reef. Every year from March to August, Exmouth is the only place in the world where whale sharks congregate in large numbers attracting travellers from across the world for a magical underwater experience.
Your day begins with a complimentary hotel transfer from Exmouth accommodation to meet the award-winning crew. Setting sail moments later, you’ll be cruising the crystal-clear waters of Ningaloo Reef to snorkel at one of the most beautiful spots of the sheltered lagoon. Next, enjoy a morning tea while a spotter plane heads out in search of whale sharks from the air. As soon as the whale sharks have been found, the skipper will head to the location for your extraordinary swim with the whale sharks.
Heading out in groups of 10, you’ll be blown away by these gentle giants that range from 4m to 12 metres long. This may not be your only whale shark swim of the day with a possibility of another swim later in the day. A buffet lunch and an additional snorkelling spot will be visited in the afternoon for encounters with turtles, rays, dolphins and even dugongs that may be found in the sheltered lagoons. Photographers will also be on hand throughout the day to capture your special moments on Ningaloo Reef forever.

- Anyone entering the water must have basic swimming ability
- Children must be accompanied by a swimming adult
