DESCRIPTION
Escape to a dreamy tropical island paradise in less than an hour on this Carnac Island half day sail from Fremantle. Get cosy aboard the vessel and enjoy a moment of peace and tranquillity as the wind blows in your hair travelling to the island.
This A Class Nature Reserve is teeming with wildlife so grab your fins and snorkel and take a dip in the ocean to swim or snorkel alongside friendly Sea Lions and tropical fish. A large sheltered bay on the eastern side of the island provides the ideal conditions for a relaxing swim in shallow waters but you may have to share the beach with some playful Sea Lions.
The use of stand up paddle boards and kayaks are available for those who wish to stay dry and for an extra thrill, a huge cargo net can be thrown out the back of the vessel for your very own little spa bath. Morning or afternoon tea and water are provided, simply pack your swimmers, towel and sunscreen for this extraordinary adventure at Carnac Island.

- It is an important haul out location for Australian Sea Lions and a myriad of sea birds as well as boasting spectacular diving, snorkelling and fishing
- Bottlenose Dolphins are also very common in the area and Capella is able to get closer than other boats without noisy motors to scare them off
- The western side of Carnac is an absolute delight with high limestone cliffs plunging into the water and a truly spectacular anchorage perfect for paddling the kayaks around

- Morning cruises depart at 8am and return at 12pm
- Afternoon cruises depart at 1pm and return at 5pm
- Please be at the jetty and ready to board 15 minutes prior to the designated start time

Additional Information
- There is plenty of car parking available at Sardine Jetty. It is a 15 minute walk from the Fremantle Train Station
- Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation

- Cruises operate with a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 30 (very rarely)
- If minimum numbers are not met for the date requested you will be contacted to discuss rescheduling. We will do our best to accommodate you on an alternative day suitable to you. In the event we are unable to find an alternative date you will be refunded
- Sailing is wind and weather dependent, so the choice of direction and destinations will need to be evaluated nearer to the day. We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule if conditions require it. Guest safety and enjoyment is our number 1 priority

- Public departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers
- Charter 1 reserves the right to reschedule tours where minimum numbers are not met or when unsafe weather conditions are forecast, or on the rare occasion of mechanical failure
- We monitor expected conditions well in advance of each tour and charter. We will always try to give you as much notice as possible if we deem it too risky to proceed however the final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day Unexpected weather changes can and do happen, albeit are rare
- Please be waiting at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time and note the departure location on your booking communications from us
- The vessel will not be held back if guests are late
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Rescheduling: Please note only one reschedule will be allowed per booking and must be processed before the cut-off: 72 hours before departure, within the same season. Subsequent changes will incur a fee of $25pp
- Participant Changes: Requests for participant name changes are permitted and must be sent via email directly to the operator at least 24 hours prior to departure. Operator contact details will be provided once your experience is confirmed.
