This is a adventurous and fun tour where you will get a great taste for Western Australia’s beautiful South West Region.

You will:

Walk to the top of Leeuwin Lighthouse for impressive views of where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet.

Walk through the biggest show cave in Western Australia – the “Jewel Cave”.

Enjoy Hamelin Bay where you may be lucky enough to meet the friendly stingrays or choose to go for a swim, dip your toes in the beautiful Indian ocean.

Take a 3-4 hour return hike on a section of the Cape to Cape track.

Enjoy some downtime exploring the town of Margaret River.

Take part in a 2 hour private group surfing lesson with Margaret River Surfing Academy.

Enjoy an afternoon wine and beer tasting at some of the almost 100 cellar doors and breweries in the region.

Visit The Margaret River Chocolate Factory, Margaret River Dairy Company, Geographe Bay in Dunsborough and walk the ~2km long Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.

Day 1: Perth – Margaret River & Augusta

Stop At: Jewel Caves Road Deepdene, Augusta, Western Australia 6290 Australia
Enjoy a 1-Hour guided Tour of the biggest show cave in Western Australia “Jewel Cave”
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Leeuwin Rd, Augusta, Western Australia 6290 Australia
Enjoy a morning half hour tour to the top of Leeuwin Lighthouse the largest mainland lighthouse in Australia for impressive views of where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Hamelin Bay Road 40 Ks South of Margaret River, Margaret River, Western Australia 6288 Australia
Enjoy Hamlin Bay where you may be lucky enough to meet the friendly stingrays or choose to go for a swim, dip your toes in the beautiful Indian ocean or enjoy a relaxing afternoon beach walk.

Snap a photo of the beautiful Karri Trees as you travel through Boranup Forest to Margaret River.

Enjoy an evening at your safari camp nestled amidst the towering timber of the Wooditjup National Park for some rest, a hot shower and a wholesome meal.

Day 2: Hiking the Cape to Cape, Exploring Margaret River

Stop At: Cape to Cape Track, Western Australia Australia
This features spectacular coastal and forest scenery, a fascinating geology of cliffs, caves, headlands and rock formations and an every- changing display of vegetation and wildflowers. You may even be lucky enough to spy humpback whales leaping and seeing surfers riding giant waves. This track also has incredibly fascinating indigenous and European history. Your hike will be around 3-4 hours (we won’t have time to do all 124km of the track!), but this depends on time and weather.

Enjoy some downtime this afternoon exploring the town of Margaret River. Margaret River colloquially known as “Margs”, which has a lovely high street and community feel, located 10km from the Indian Ocean and positioned on the banks of the Margaret River.
Duration: 3 hours

• Dinner: You will be treated to an Aussie BBQ, and in winter we’ll even add on a campfire.

Day 3: Surfing, wineries & sunsets

Stop At: Margaret River Surfing Academy, Rivermouth Car Park, Prevelly, Margaret River WA 6285, Australia
Take part in a 2 hour private group surfing lesson with Margaret River Surfing Academy. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced surfer this lesson will benefit you. You will be provided with wetsuits, surfboards, and the very best guidance from the professional, experienced coaches to ensure you become confident, capable surfer and have an amazing time in the water. You will be introduced to ocean safety and elevate your surfing skills to be ocean competent and be able to surf a range of conditions with confidence on your own.

Stop At: Vasse Felix Winery, Cnr Tom Cullity Drive & Caves Road, Cowaramup, Western Australia WA 6284 Australia
In the afternoon we’ll set off for wine and beer tasting at one of the almost 100 cellar doors and breweries in the region.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Surfers Point, Prevelly, Western Australia 6285 Australia
Finish the afternoon watching a beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean at Surfers Point in Prevelly and catch surfers surfing one of the world-class surf breaks.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 4: Chocolate, cheese and crystal-clear beaches

Stop At: The Margaret River Chocolate Co, 415 Harman_s Mill Road, Metricup, Western Australia 6280 Australia
Set off to one of the most popular tourist destinations in Western Australia – “The Margaret River Chocolate Factory”. It’s as good as it sounds – here you will be able to enjoy free chocolate samples, browse their 200+ exquisite chocolate product range, or try their hot chocolates.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Margaret River Cheese Company, 8063 Bussell Hwy, Metricup, Western Australia 6280 Australia
Head over to the Margaret River Dairy Company. Proudly crafting cheese and yoghurts, this is an icon of the community and you’ll be able to enjoy some beautiful taste testers of their products.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Dunsborough, Dunsborough, Busselton, Margaret River Region, Western Australia
Dunsborough, a renowned holiday town, where the Geographe Bay’s crystal-clear oceans and pristine white sandy beaches are aplenty. We will enjoy lunch and a swim here.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Busselton Jetty, 3L Queen St Beach Front Busselton, Busselton, Western Australia 6280 Australia
Head to Busselton, where you will be given the opportunity to walk the ~2km long Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.
