Upon booking your Swan River Seaplanes Fly/Ferry combo, prepare yourself for the most incredible flying experience possible, direct from Perth city!
This isn’t just point A to point B transport, this is the quickest and most scenic way of reaching Rottnest Island from Perth City.
You will be greeted by friendly and knowledgable staff at your hotel lobby, and after your complimentary transfer you will arrive at the stunning South Perth Esplanade.
With the ever-changing Perth city-scape as your backdrop and manicured lawns underfoot, even checking-in to your flight is unique.
Board the seaplane and experience the exhilarating thrill of taking off from the water and seeing Western Australia’s capital city from a low level aerial view (views only witnessed from within a seaplane). After tracking down the Swan River, past Fremantle and over Cottesloe beach, you will proceed to fly a full figure of 8 over Rottnest Island seeing all of the secluded bays, beaches and coves from above.
After a full orbit of the island, the amphibious seaplane will touch down on the island’s runway where you will disembark the aircraft. Adventure awaits, and you now have time at leisure to enjoy our favourite little island of paradise. With the flexibility of multiple flight departure times and ferry return times, you can choose exactly how you want your Rottnest Island experience to unfold. For same day tour guests, you can expect to depart for Rottnest Island at 9am and return on the 5pm ferry (arriving by 6:30pm at Barrack Street / Elizabeth Quay).
