Your safari begins along the scenic coastal route to the World Heritage-listed Daintree rainforest, encountering intriguing flora and fauna of the region. Walk in the footsteps of Captain Cook, taking in the views of Cooktown. You’ll visit the mining town of Weipa, before staying at true blue Aussie cattle station, Bramwell Station. Cape York is full of adventure and fun, with gigantic termite mounds, crystal clear creeks, prehistoric plant life to explore before it’s time to bid a fond farewell from this fascinating region from Cairns.
This morning you are transferred from your selected Cairns pre-tour accommodation to Cairns Airport. Time now to enjoy a guided bus tour of the island (included). After lunch (own expense today) transfer by ferry to the northern-most settlements of mainland Australia where we stay for two nights.
