Travel along the Great Ocean Road and witness unrestricted views of Australia’s most spectacular coastline.Your first stop of the day is at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery. Here you’ll experience billy tea and an ANZAC biscuit, with a story connecting you to the Great Ocean Road.Stop at the historic Memorial Arch, the start of the Great Ocean Road. Then, we’ll make a photo stop at picturesque seaside town of Lorne. Continuing on from Lorne we’ll visit the idyllic seaside town of Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense) and relax with locals and holiday makers. Please Note: Itinerary subject to run in reverse.
Return to Melbourne and see the spectacular city night lights as you cross the West Gate Bridge.
See the amazing Twelve Apostles, a series of limestone stacks rising dramatically from the Southern Ocean and visit the Information Centre. Walk along the boardwalk and see breathtaking views from various viewing platforms. Feel the sand between your toes at Loch Ard Gorge and be swept away by the romantic and tragic story of love and lives lost aboard the Loch Ard. See the natural erosion and contrasts between rugged coast and fertile rainforest living side by side and discover the tragic history of hundreds of ships wrecked along this rugged coastline. Stop in the town of Port Campbell before continuing on to see the remnants of London Bridge.
