Mt Wellington/kunanyi is our first stop of the day, we’ll take a ‘trip up the mountain’ as the locals would say. We travel through winding roads surrounded by stunning sub-alpine flora and glacial rock formations. Once on the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Tasmania’s capital city, waterways, surrounding suburbs, and towering mountain ranges. After departing Mt Wellington, we’ll take the short drive out to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, one of Tasmania’s leading wildlife parks. Learn about the fascinating Tasmanian Devil and other unique native wildlife. Richmond historic village will be our last stop of the day. Richmond is home to over 50 historic buildings built in the early 1800s, Australia’s oldest gaol, catholic church, and oldest bridge can also be found here. Get lost in the maze, enjoy a tasty scallop pie, or for those with a sweet tooth, a visit to Sweets & Treats is a must!
