We start the day by heading south to Kiama blowhole. The surrounding volcanic rocks provide the perfect channel for powerful waves.
If the swell is large the spray from the blowhole shoots up to 25 metres into the air. We then proceed to the small blowhole and see yet another blowhole erupt.
Having had our fill of sea spray we make our way to the eerie basalt columns at Bombo Headland. After a walk around this surreal Headland we take a short stop at Cathedral Rocks followed by a visit to the Minnamurra Whale Watching Platform.
Time to head further north to imposing Sea Cliff Bridge, which follows the winding coastline and provides incredible views of the ocean below.
It is now time to make a few decisions. At this point we can either head to Symbio Wildlife Park or we can venture into the Royal National Park for a bushwalk or a few short stops at lookouts.
Ask us about bushwalks – yes Wedding Cake Rock is an option.
Our last stop for the day is Wattamolla waterfall.
