Southern Barossa – 10 Minute Scenic Flight
Departing Hoffnungsthal Valley, heading over Rowland Flat taking in the views of Jacob’s Creek Winery’s “tank farm”. Some of these tanks hold up to 1.4 million litres of WINE! From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch near Cockatoo Valley and over the Whispering Wall.
Skydive Perth City is in the heart of Perth CBD in Langley Park, making it the closest Skydive in the city! Exit the plane from up to 14,000ft as you freefall over the Western Australia coastline. Then, float under canopy for 5-7 minutes to take in the unbeatable views of Perth CBD, Rottnest Island, Swan River and more.
Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying past Lyndoch before tracking along the western ridge of the Barossa to Historic Seppeltsfield. Here you will see vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads. From there you will fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around the Wolf Blass winery, and then the view of large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston. A little further on you will get a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in south Australia.
As you descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany.
Beyond Tanunda is home of Jacobs Creek. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
Lifting off from the Hoffnungsthal Valley we cruise past the township of Lyndoch veering right, to fly along the western ridge of the Barossa Valley. Here you will see the vast plains that make up the mid-north area whilst viewing contouring vineyards, rolling hills and the palm tree studded roads that lead to Historic Seppeltsfield Winery. Continuing towards Nuriootpa, your pilot will point out Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery, before flying down the valley floor over Tanunda where you can see the stunning old buildings of Chateau Tanunda and many old churches. Flying further south you will enjoy a view over Jacob’s Winery, home of some of the largest wine tanks in Australia each tank holding up to 1.4 million litres of wine. From there your flight takes you to the southern end of the Barossa, past the town of Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall returning finally to our base in the Hoffnungsthal Valley.

Experience the best of what the West Kimberley has to offer in one day. So famous is Australia’s Bungle Bungle range, they hardly need an introduction, but suffice to say there is no better way to see them. Discover the natural beauty of the Bungle Bungle Range as you explore West Kimberley in a small airplane on a full-day tour from Broome. Fly to Purnululu National Park and land there to see the Beehive Domes and Cathedral Gorge up close. You’ll also pass over vast plains, Halls Creek, and the Windjana Gorge on a tour that includes breakfast and lunch, flights and ground transfers, and hotel pickup and drop-off.
This 30-minute scenic helicopter tour departs Cairns airport and tracks out from the mainland with views of the city of Cairns and Trinity inlet, passing False Cape where you can see the remnants of WWII defences, Mt Yarrabah, Mission Bay and Cape Grafton. From there we strike out to the inner edge of the Reef and Green Island, a 6,000 year-old coral sand island that boasts its own native rainforest eco-system. Tracking to the north, we explore the western side of Arlington Reef, home to a diverse range of marine creatures – turtles, sharks and sting rays.
Continuing north we’ll circle Vlasoff Cay a tiny sand island in the middle of the reef that reduces to only a few hundred square metres in size at high tide. From Vlasoff Cay we head west, over Upolu Cay and back to Cairns taking in fantastic views of the North Queensland coastline framed by the lush rainforest-covered eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range.
Extend your Cairns rainforest scenic helicopter flight to 30 minutes and we start this experience by climbing quickly with a clearance to 2,500 ft over the City of Cairns headed West for the Great Dividing Range. Ascending the lush eastern slopes, we arrive over beautiful Lake Morris which attracts an abundance of birdlife to its pristine waters. Passing over Copperlode Dam we’ll track along the range, overflying the Kuranda Scenic Railway at Stoney Creek.
We continue on, flying into the mighty ‘Instagram’ worthy Barron Gorge. Here we’ll gently climb, passing through 1,000 ft over the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and then circle over the Barron Falls and nearby Kuranda rainforest village where the famous Skyrail and Kuranda Scenic Railway begin their return journey back to Cairns. From Kuranda, your Cairns helicopter tour turns for the coast over the lush eastern slopes of the Great Dividing Range with views of Double Island, Palm Cove, over Cairns city and out to the Reef.
Our 20-minute Cairns rainforest scenic tour provides a ‘taste’ of this incredible World Heritage-listed natural region. Cairns sits on a floodplain to the south of the mouth of the mighty Barron River. The Barron river flows 65 kilometres across fertile volcanic soils of the Atherton Tablelands and then journeys through the quaint village of Kuranda before cascading down the 850 ft high Barron Falls and out into the Coral Sea.
The Barron Gorge is an impressive natural feature carved out of the Great Dividing Range and the Falls at its head are intimidating to behold when in full flight during the tropical wet season.
