Under this unique program run in small groups, you’ll get the most out of each lesson, meet like minded women in your area and be coached by some of the best female surf coaches in the business at various beaches across the Sunshine Coast / Alexandra Headland area, depending on the surf conditions.
Over four lessons, you’ll improve your paddling and positioning techniques, catch unbroken waves, control and change the speed and direction of the board and develop a functional stance for building power and stability. It’s a great way to increase your confidence both in and out of the water.
We meet at Mandoon Estate Winery in Caversham and launch from Mandoon’s private jetty on the Swan River.
We then paddle slowly down river, taking time to admire the natural beauty and unique flora and fauna of this special, serene, meandering section of the river.
Our journey includes a number of ‘raft up’s’ where we get together ‘mid-stream’ for a chat and a story.
We continue with our paddle arriving at the historical Woodbridge Park where we stop, get out and stretch our legs.
A short paddle back to Mandoon sees us disembarking and walking you up to the Cellar Door to enjoy a well-earned wine tasting, coffee, tea or soft drink.
